Dear Readers, Contributors and Friends of the Expression Circle Magazine, It gives me great joy to welcome you to this first edition of our Expression Circle Magazine—a vibrant platform where imagination meets expression. In these pages, we celebrate not only artistic excellence but the deeper journey of discovering who we are through the gifts we carry within us, given by God. Every individual is born with a unique creative spark. When provoked and nurtured, that spark becomes a source of fulfillment, confidence, and self-actualization. Creativity is more than art; it is a pathway to understanding ourselves, shaping our identities, and contributing meaningfully to the world around us. When we use our talents with intention and passion, we experience a sense of wholeness that no external achievement could ever replace. This vision aligns with the government’s education structure of Competence-Based Education (CBE), which champions learning through practical skills, innovation and personal strengths. By encouraging learners to explore their talents, be it in visual arts, music, writing, design or performance, the CBE framework empowers them to thrive not only academically but emotionally and socially. This clearly teaches us that, the role of education is to cultivate capability, creativity and character in the learner. As patron, I am proud to witness the birth of this newborn baby. I can’t wait to see the extent to which this magazine will go and continue to inspire young people to embrace their talents and pursue excellence in their chosen paths. May each article, poem, painting, and performance featured here motivate you to keep exploring, keep creating, and keep believing in the power of your potential.
